Conversation Cafe is a free conversational English as an additional language program (EAL) for the whole family. This program provides an opportunity to meet new people and enjoy refreshments while improving your conversational English in a relaxed atmosphere through intentional, facilitated small group conversation. Whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or advanced English speaker, Conversation Cafe aims to empower you by helping you improve your Conversational English while also making meaningful connections with your community.

Free transportation is also available!

Our in-person program takes place on Mondays at 6:45 PM-8:00 PM NST

at 130 Magee Road, Gander NL (Evangel Church)

Adult Program

Our bi-weekly adult program helps individuals improve their English while enjoying refreshments and having conversations with small groups of people. Join us for the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends while improving your English skills!

 

Children’s program

Specifically for Children of Participants in the Adult Program

We offer an in-house children’s program for nursery, preschool, and school aged children. Each week, children will be provided with a snack and their English skills will improve through conversations, teaching activities, and play.
