2005 Missions Trip To Malawi AFrica
In 2005 Evangel decided to undertake the challenge to invest into the Village of Hope in Malawi, Africa. Funds of nearly $35,000 were raised to construct the Gander House at the Village of Hope. The team spend most of their time constructing the new building and travelled to local churches sharing the love of Christ.
2006 Missions Trip To Mexico
In 2006, DV8 Youth Ministry put the challenge out to its group to put together a team and travel to Mexico. A team of 22 youth and young adults boarded a place and landed in Mexico and spent 10 days working with the local people. The team distributed food to the poor, shared Christ at evening evangelistic services, preached outdoors, did children's ministry and witnessed door to door about the love of Christ. The team spent four nights at an orphanage doing light construction work and repairs on the property.
2008 Missions To YCMALAWI
In 2008 Evangel gathered a team and partnered with YC Newfoundland and Extreme Dream Ministries to help coordinate the YCMalawi conference in Malawi. Leading up to the weekend event the team traveled to various villages and towns and shared the message of salvation, the team literally saw thousands come to know Christ as their personal savior. The YC event saw nearly 15,000 people in attendance along with many salvations, the team witnessed incredible miracles.
2010 Missions Trip To Malawi/Kenya
Evangel once again, decided to travel back to Malawi to continue the work we have started at the village of Hope, Malawi. The missions trip was divided into two parts. The first half of the trip was spent at the Village of Hope Malawi but the second half was spent in Kenya. Traveling north of Nairobi the team helped to construct the Darling Angel House that was funded by a Donation from Jeff and Donna Beaton in memory of her mother.
2012 Missions Trip To Malawi/Tanzania
Evangel's most recent missions endeavour came in 2012 as yet again we sent a team to Malawi to work with the Village of Hope. During this time, the team worked around the property, spending time with the children, and doing repairs around the property. In addition to the VIllage of Hope, the team worked alongside local pastors and partnered in the work that they have been doing. The second half of the trip was spent in Tanzania working with Anna Rowsell. The team spend time with Anna and helped her in the work that she was doing through the Child Care Plus Program.
